June Afternoon was painted on location at Sweetwater Wetlands Park in Gainesville Fl. I wrote the story of this work in a blog you can read on this site. I did the work on oil paper with oil paint sticks. Once dry, I mounted it permanently on a 6 x 8 panel that is varnished for protection. It doesn't need framing but it can be framed in the same way as a painting on canvas.
